Project Description

The Women’s Health and Reproductive Rights Foundation of Thailand in cooperation with the Medical Council of Thailand, The Royal Thai College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, National Health Security Office, Reproductive Health Society (Thai) endorsed by Asia Oceania Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AOFOG) organized the 3rd International Congress on Women’s Health and Unsafe Abortion (IWAC 2016) on January 26-29, 2016 at Asia Hotel, Bangkok and Minister of Public Health Prof. Piyasakol Sakolsatayadorn, M.D. officially opened the congress.

The Women’s Health and Reproductive Rights Foundation of Thailand in cooperation with the Medical Council of Thailand, The Royal Thai College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, National Health Security Office, Reproductive Health Society (Thai) endorsed by Asia Oceania Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AOFOG) organized the 3rd International Congress on Women’s Health and Unsafe Abortion (IWAC 2016) on January 26-29, 2016 at Asia Hotel, Bangkok and Minister of Public Health, Prof. Piyasakol Sakolsatayadorn, M.D. officially opened the congress. The scientific program included 12 symposia, 7 sessions of free communications and 8 poster presentations, pre-congress workshop on value clarification, and ending with the Bangkok Declaration on the last day of event. There were totally 319 participants attended the congress from 48 nations around the world attend congress. This congress was so successful and most participants requested to arrange the 4th IWAC congress in Thailand again. .
