APCAT - 2019 The 8th Asia-Pacific Congress in Catalysis

The Asia-Pacific Congress on Catalysis (APCAT) has been organized consecutively every 3 years by the Asian-Pacific Association of Catalysis Societies (APACS), for year 2019, Thailand was honored to host the 8th congress (APCAT-8) under the theme of “A breakthrough in catalysis toward efficiency and sustainable future” during August 4-7, 2019 at Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at Central World, Bangkok. The scientific theme encompasses a wide spectrum of topics, including state-of-the-art and recent trend in different catalysis research areas.
Main research theme includes Catalysis for clean energy and fuels, Environmental Catalysis, Reaction mechanism and kinetics, Catalysis for industrial & fine chemicals, and Catalytic materials &design. And the congress is covered through plenary and keynote lectures, oral and poster presentations and this is the great chance to bring together academic and industrial researchers to share and broaden viewpoints.
The scientific program included 6 plenary sessions, 26 keynote sessions, 34 invited talks, 274 oral presentations, and 264 poster presentation. There were totally 718 participants from 32 countries around the world attended the congress.
